100-Year Celebration and Auction - Family Event

100-Year Celebration Re-Imagined

The 100-Year Celebration will now take place on the evening of Thursday, May 11th, 5-8 PM at Potomac Elementary School. Join us for a 1920's themed celebration to recognize our teachers, staff and community, as well our long awaited silent auction, which among other things, support various school improvement projects, educational grants for our teachers and students.

The event is free to attend, but please RSVP below. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

  • Potomac Elementary School was established in 1923. In this decade, we saw surging fashion trends, economic prosperity, creation of The Walt Disney Company, repeal of prohibition, women's suffrage, and the end of a world war... this was a time of great change!

Life was different then. It's easy to look at where we are today, and forget where we came from. So much has changed, and we are a stronger nation. Our school began it's history 100 years ago with the intention of educating students.

However, our school is more than a place of education. Our school is a place where change-makers are grown. A place where change-makers embrace each other and a place where we envision the change of tomorrow... Our future.

Join us for an evening of celebration as we recognize and honor our those who have paved the way.
